Each member has a single share in the club which is run by volunteers. There are currently 18 football teams including veterans, ladies and youth sides from U7s to U17’s. There are 7 cricket sides. Apart from its primary use as a multi-sports club, Wandgas runs a thriving social club with a strong emphasis on family use.
Tournament 2010
We would also like to thank all those teams and families who attended the Wandgas Football Tournament this year 2010 and helped make it a fantastic success, we look forward to seeing you next year in 2011.
The weather was fantastic and the football was excellent, we hope you enjoyed our tournament as much as we did. Everyone at the club worked really hard to make our tournament one of the best in the area.
We would like to give a big thank you to all the volunteers behind the scenes who helped organise and develop the tournament and for all those who volunteered and helped over the weekend. Especially Sheila and Dennis Jones who have been organising and administrating for Wandgas Football Club, doing lots of hard work behind the scenes and also Tony McFadden our Chairman and Rob Brown our Treasurer who helped make our primary event such a great success.
